Saint Julien-des-Landes is a village where 1900 people are leaving. It is a part of the "Communauté de Communes du Pays des Achards", in Vendee. It is situated at 16 miles from the prefecture of La Roche-sur-Yon and at 12 miles from the sub prefecture of the Sables d'Olonne.
The region is slightly undulating is a part of the coastal hinterland. You can easily reach to the sea in about twenty minutes. However you avoid the congestion of the very popular bathing areas.
